Prosecutor’s Office Prepared for Election Day Issues

FREEHOLD – Voters with questions and concerns about fraudulent voting, illegal voting or voter intimidation can seek assistance from the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.

MCPO representatives will be available from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 6, Election Day, to respond to those concerns.

Resident can call the Monmouth County hotline at 855-786-5878 to report voter fraud or misconduct.

A Deputy Attorney General from the State Office of the Attorney General will be at the Board of Elections headquarters to provide representation on legal issues arising at polling places throughout the county. Anyone who is turned away from their polling place can reach out the Board office that day for help.

Judges are available at the Monmouth County Courthouse, 71 Monument St. in Freehold, to rule on whether a voter who has been challenged at the local polling place may be allowed to vote. The Judge can order a provisional or absentee ballot be provided to the voter.
