Motorcyclist Dead, Passenger Injured In Crash

  MARLBORO – A crash on a rural road was fatal for a motorcyclist and it also hospitalized his passenger with serious injuries.

  Police said the crash took place between a Harley-Davidson, Ford Explorer, and a GMC Acadia near Tennent Road and Peregrine Drive on August 13 around 3 p.m.

  The motorcyclist, a 40-year-old Piscataway man, was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, a 32-year-old Piscataway woman, was airlifted to Jersey Shore Regional Medical Center for injuries that are serious but not believed to be life-threatening, Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey reported.

  The Explorer was driven by a 46-year-old woman from Long Branch and the Acadia was driven by a 52-year-old man from Hillsborough. Neither reported serious injuries.
