MANALAPAN – A Manalapan man was recently arrested for the distribution of child porn, announced Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni.
Eton Ronberg, 49, was charged with one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child for Distribution of Child Pornography and one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child for Possession of Child Pornography.
Ronberg was arrested at his place of employment on August 23 after a month-long investigation by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office and New Jersey State Police Internet Crimes Against Children’s Task Force. He was charged with second degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child for Distribution of Child Pornography and one count third degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child for Possession of Child Pornography.
Ronberg made his first appearance on August 25 and was later released on Pre-Trial Services pending the resolution of these charges.
Ronberg faces up to 10 years New Jersey State Prison, Megan’s Law and Parole Supervision for Life.
The case is assigned to Monmouth County Assistant Prosecutor Stephanie Dugan.
