Monmouth County Man Arrested For Child Porn

FREEHOLD – A Neptune man was arrested for possessing and distributing child pornography.

Anthony McCray, 50, was charged with second- and third-degree endangering the welfare of a child, one charge for distribution and the other for possession, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni said.

McCray allegedly shared 16 videos of the abuse via peer-to-peer file sharing on Aug. 3, 2018, and another 86 videos on Nov. 18.

Authorities executed a warrant at McCray’s home on Feb. 21. A detention hearing is scheduled for today.

If convicted, he faces up to 10 years with a 5-year parole ineligibility for distribution and up to 5 years for possession.
