MONMOUTH COUNTY – A Freehold Township man is facing a charge of possession of child pornography, announced Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni.

John Ozbilgen, 29, of Freehold Township, was arrested at his home today and charged with one count of third degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child – Possession of Child Pornography. If convicted of this third degree crime, Ozbilgen faces a sentence of up to five years in a New Jersey state prison.

Ozbilgen is currently being detained in the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in Freehold Township pending a detention hearing to be scheduled next week in Superior Court.

The case is assigned to Monmouth County Assistant Prosecutors Caitlin Sidley and Emily Cartmell.

According to the Asbury Park Press, Ozbilgen was in a relationship with Stephanie Parze back in August. Parze is the woman who has been missing since October 30. The report also said that authorities were not at the house related to the disappearance of Parze and this was a separate matter.

Nearly a dozen police cars were in front of a house that John D. Ozbilgen, 29, a stock broker, listed as his home address on a Sept. 22 police report when he was charged with simple assault.

Despite these charges, every defendant is presumed innocent, unless and until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, following a trial at which the defendant has all of the trial rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and State law.
