Man Dies In Thursday Evening Crash

FREEHOLD – A Union Beach man died after being struck by a vehicle on Route 537 in Freehold Thursday night, the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office said.

Kevin McMillen , 64, of Union Beach, was struck while walking on Route 537 near Route 33 around 5:41 p.m.

He was hit by a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier, driven by 43-year-old Farmingdale resident Andrea Glazewski, who was traveling westbound.

McMillen was pronounced dead at 6:10 p.m.

Glazewski was uninjured. No charges were filed against her.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, Monmouth County Serious Collision Analysis Response Team (SCART), and Freehold Township Police Department investigated.
