TINTON FALLS – Police are investigating a one-vehicle crash that killed a driver in the early morning hours of Aug. 21.
The driver, whose name is was not yet revealed, was pronounced dead at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. The crash took place at around 4 a.m.
A State Police spokesman confirmed that the driver’s Buick Roadmaster was traveling in the express lanes when it left the roadway near mile marker 105.6. There were no other people in the vehicle.
