FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP – “Oh the humanity,” said police.

A routine transport saw a tragic turn of events earlier today when several cases of beer toppled out of the delivery truck onto Halls Mills Road.

Officers responded to the area of Halls Mill Rd. and Route 33 around 2 p.m. for reports of a “hazardous condition” on the road way to see the fallen beer, no longer serviceable, along the side of the road.

The roadway was temporarily closed while officials cleared away the mess.

No one was injured.
