MANCHESTER – Authorities have confirmed a fire that broke out in a Whiting home Wednesday evening was accidental.
Around 5:13 p.m., police were dispatched to a fire at a home on Conestoga Drive in the Whiting section of the Township. Luckily, all the residents in the home were safely evacuated from the blaze.
Several local fire companies from partner jurisdictions aided in extinguishing the flames. Once the fire was put out, authorities reported no injuries at the time.
Officials deemed the home uninhabitable, and the American Red Cross responded to assist those in need.
In addition, officials determined the fire to be accidental.
