MANCHESTER – Police announced that 15-year-old Joseph Johnson, who had been missing for two weeks, has been safely located.

Officials said they are aware of public concern about his disappearance but emphasized that there is no threat to community safety. No further details are being released.

Johnson was last seen leaving his home on Laurel Place in Whiting on August 24, prompting an investigation and public calls for information.

The Manchester Township Police Department thanked the community for its assistance.
