WHITING – A fundraiser will be held for a Manchester resident who ended up in critical condition after a horrible car accident.
Back in April of 2019, 23-year-old Troy Swift was in a fatal car accident that almost took his life. He suffered several injures such as a head injury, a broken neck and mandible. Troy continued to be in a coma at the Intensive Care Unit at Jersey Shore Medical Center for a month before needing major surgeries. He then acquired secondary injuries such as broken ribs, eye socket, scapula and clavicle. Swift is currently receiving treatment at a rehabilitation center in North Jersey until he can reach a full recovery.
Not only is the fundraiser helping towards expensive medical expenses, but is also supporting Swift’s family during this terrible time.
The fundraiser will be held on April 25 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Whiting Firehouse Hall, 120 Lacey Road. Tickets are $50 per person and includes beer, wine, hot buffet dinner and dessert. There will also be a 50/50 raffle, gift baskets and a DJ.
You can email swiftbenefit229@gmail.com to submit a payment or donation.
