HOWELL – Howell EMS responded to a structure fire on Route 33 today. Officials informed that the fire encompassed a residential structure, although no injuries have been reported.
Residents should take note that Route 33 has been closed in both directions between the 33/34 junction and Colts Neck Road to manage the incident. Traffic is heavy. Officials urge taking an alternate route.
“The highway is expected to be reopened soon,” stated Howell Police.
The Howell Fire Bureau is conducting an investigation into the incident.
