
FARMINGDALE — A DoorDash delivery driver has been arrested after authorities say he sexually assaulted a woman at a Monmouth County residence.
New Jersey State Police said troopers were dispatched to a home on West Main Street in Farmingdale around 4:13 p.m. on April 14 following a report of a sexual assault that had just taken place.
According to investigators, a female victim was allegedly assaulted by a food delivery driver who then left the residence before police arrived.
Following an investigation, detectives identified the suspect as Luis Teran-Carrillo, 36, of Howell. Authorities later located him at the Manasquan Reservoir, also in Howell, and took him into custody.
Teran-Carrillo has been charged with sexual assault and criminal sexual contact. He was transported to the Monmouth County Jail, where he remains pending a court appearance.
No additional details were immediately released. The investigation remains ongoing.
