Authorities Seek Info In Cat Attacked With Crossbow

HOWELL – Authorities need the public’s help to identify persons involved in injuring a cat with a crossbow.

Howell Township Police received a call at 6:15 p.m. May 6 that a cat had been shot with a crossbow in the area of Casino Drive.

The cat was taken to Red Bank Veterinary Hospital, where the arrow was removed. Authorities said the cat is recovering at the Monmouth County SPCA’s Animal Shelter.
