The Hassler Family Is Dedicated To Serving Your Family With Personal, Compassionate Service That Meets Your Individual Needs In A Dignified, Warm And Caring Atmosphere.
The doors of the George S. Hassler Funeral Home were first opened in 1978 by its owners, George and Arlene Hassler, at its original location in Jackson Township, NJ. An older farmhouse located on 10 acres was expanded and renovated to include the funeral home and a residence for the family, George, Arlene and their son Brian.
In 1993, Brian joined the family business as a licensed funeral director, and the funeral home entered its second generation of operation. After serving the Jackson community and surrounding areas for 20 years, in 1998, in order to better serve their families, the Hassler family undertook a large expansion and renovation project that added an additional 7000 square feet to the funeral home.
This provided 2 more viewing rooms, a new arrangement, conference room, a large comfortable foyer, spacious common areas, a new casket display room, 2 additional rest rooms, and a 4-car garage. Also, former living space was converted into additional office space to accommodate a state-of-the-art computerized system. Most recently, in 2006, much of the exterior of the building was renovated. At the same time, the interior was updated and entirely redecorated.
After 36 years of dedicated service, the Hassler family continues its tradition of professional service with genuine concern for the families they serve.
