Vehicle Stop Leads To Drug Arrests

  BRICK – Police said they pulled over a driver and found crack and marijuana on him.

  Michael Trotman, 35, of Pine Beach was pulled over on the morning of March 4 by the Street Crimes Unit near the intersection of Brick Boulevard and Schoener Drive.

  Trotman was found to be in possession of about 18 grams of crack cocaine and a small quantity of marijuana, police said.

  He was charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine. He was also issued several motor vehicle summonses. His vehicle, a 2006 Buick, was seized, as well as $330 in cash.

  His passengers were also charged with possession of marijuana. They were Janice Rivera, 32, of Lakewood, and Joseph Reavis, 24, of Toms River. The passengers were released on summonses.
