LAKEWOOD – Students from The Goddard School of Route 70 in Toms River sang the national anthem at the BlueClaws game July 28. It’s an annual tradition.

“Teaching the children our National Anthem provides us the opportunity to teach them not only the words to the song but also about good citizenship and what it means to be an American” said Alisa Khaitan, on-site owner of The Goddard School, Route 70, Toms River. “It’s such a treat for everyone involved – the children sing from their hearts, and parents and community members just love seeing them perform.”
