LAKEWOOD – Lakewood Police continue to investigate a string of burglaries that occurred over the weekend.
In the early hours of Saturday, August 17, police responded to a residence located on the 1200 block of 14th St. for reports of a burglary in progress.
Once on the scene, officers were able to gain access to the home but had just missed the suspects due to a delay in reporting. The suspects had already managed to flee the scene. Police later discovered that two more neighboring homes on Arbutus Dr. and Case Rd. were also burglarized.
In all three incidents, the suspects entered the homes through an unlocked first floor window.
