Police Make Multiple Drugs Arrests

  BRICK – Over the past month, the Brick Township Police Department Street Crime Unit (SCU) has made several drug arrests in the community.

  On the evening of October 26, detectives stopped a car for multiple motor vehicle violations. Detectives found about 350 wax fold packets of heroin, approximately 10 grams of crack, a small quantity of cocaine, and numerous prescription drugs.

  As a result, the driver Toni Sisler 33, of Camden, was arrested and charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of crack with intent to distribute, possession of heroin, crack, cocaine, prescription legend drugs, Suboxone and drug paraphernalia. She was released on a summons.

  On November 3, detectives discovered a car stopped at a red light with the three people inside smoking crack. When detectives approached the car, they found Jeffrey Bair, 51, of Barnegat and James Laborante, 33, of Toms River attempting to hide the drugs. The third person, Michael Laborante, 30, of Toms River, attempted to flee on foot.

  Detectives seized heroin, a crack pipe and other paraphernalia. In addition to the drug offenses, Jeffrey Bair and Michael Laborante had outstanding warrants for their arrest.

  Bair was charged with possession of heroin, crack, paraphernalia, contempt of court, and several motor vehicle violations, including driving while suspended and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. Bair was lodged in Ocean County Jail.

  Michael Laborante was charged with possession of heroin, crack, paraphernalia, contempt of court, obstruction of justice, and being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance. He was lodged in Ocean County Jail.

  James Laborante was charged with possession of heroin, crack and paraphernalia. He was lodged in Ocean County Jail.

  After several complaints, arrests and charges associated with 4 Hollycrest Drive, the landlord, Vincent Loffredo, 86, of Brick, was charged with the Brick Township Ordinance against Irresponsible Rentals on November 19.
