Ocean County Man Admits To Cocaine Possession Charges

  BRICK – A local man has pled guilty for possession of cocaine with a plan to dispense it.

  The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force and United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) performed an investigation of narcotics distribution in Brick Township back in 2016. During the investigation, the team gained a search warrant for the residence of 40-year-old Carlos Sanchez.

Upon searching the house, officers found roughly 133 grams of Cocaine, about 200 grams of Butylone, an abundance of Oxycodone pills, a small amount of Marijuana, and approximately $32,000 in cash. Sanchez was then arrested and charged for his actions.

  Sanchez has pled guilty to possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and recommended by the state to be sentenced to nine years in New Jersey State Prison with a 54-month period of parole ineligibility
