LAKEWOOD – She had a 302,575,350-to-1 to pick the five winning numbers. And did.

Renae LaPrete, 65, of Lakewood, purchased her winning $4 million Mega Millions ticket at a Publix (a grocery store chain) in Jupiter, Florida last month.

LaPrete picked five winning numbers – 2, 32, 47, 49, and 68 – but not the Mega Ball, which was 23. Her winning numbers were drawn June 29.

She did, however, spend an extra $1 for the MegaPlier, which gave her a $4 million win rather than $1 million.

A call to LaPrete’s Lakewood home was not answered Wednesday morning.
