ATLANTIC CITY – One lucky Lakewood resident turned $5 into $1 million this weekend in Atlantic City at the Borgata casino.
Harold M. of Lakewood bet $5 on the Three Card Poker “6 Card Bonus” and wound up winning big with a six card Royal Straight Flush of Diamonds, according to the Borgata. A royal straight flush of diamonds is the ace, king, queen, jack, 10, and 9 all of the same suit.
“Christmas came early for Harold M. of Lakewood, NJ yesterday,” read a post from the Borgata on Dec. 24. “This is the first time this bet has hit at Borgata and experts at wizardofodds.com confirm that the odds of hitting the 6 card Bonus Royal Flush are 1 in 20,348,320.”
Harold M. beat these incredible odds, taking home the $1 million prize.
