POINT PLEASANT – A gas station attendant was charged with theft by deception after attempting to short change a customer, police said.
On May 12, Officer Siveen Greenan responded to the Conoco gas station on Route 88. The gas station attendant was reportedly not providing the customer with the correct amount of fuel or the correct amount of change during the transaction.
The attendant, 25-year old Palvinder Singh of Point Pleasant, was charged with Theft by Deception. Singh has been released on summons pending a court appearance.
