BRICK – An auto repair shop was struck late one night by a car, punching a hole in the side of the building.
The Laurelton Fire Department reported being dispatched at 11:40 p.m. on February 21. The building, Sunrise Auto on Route 88, was unoccupied. It is unknown if the driver was injured.
The building was secured and awaits inspection by the township’s building department to see whether it can be entered safely.
