LAKEWOOD – A two-car collision near Williams Street and Prospect Street caused a vehicle to overturn and strike a pole on the evening of June 25, according to police officials.
A Lakewood resident in a 2004 Honda Odyssey collided with a 2013 Toyota Camry after flying through a red light. The collision caused the Camry to roll over into a nearby crosswalk signal pole.
Police allege that the 40-year old driver of the Odyssey ran the red light while traveling east on Williams Street, causing the accident.
Nobody was injured in the accident, according to police. The driver of the Odyssey was given a summons for careless driving, however.
