LAKEWOOD — The post-game fireworks at the Lakewood BlueClaws stadium caused a small brush fire behind the stadium on Saturday night.
A representative from the Lakewood BlueClaws confirmed that the fireworks ignited the brush fire, which was contained to just a few bushes in the area behind the stadium.
During fireworks displays, the BlueClaws have firefighters and fire marshals on hand for instances like this.
No injuries were reported.
