BERKELEY – A man is currently listed in critical condition after being stabbed in the neck, and police are asking the public for any information regarding the crime.
The victim, a 50-year-old man, was injured at around 7 p.m. on November 14, police said. It took place in the area of Magnolia Avenue in the Manitou Park section of town.
He had a single stab wound to the neck. He was taken to Community Medical Center in Toms River before being transported to Robert Wood Johnson Memorial Hospital in New Brunswick, where he is currently listed in critical condition.
Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Berkeley Township Police Chief Karin DiMichele announced that the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit, Berkeley Township Police Department Detective Bureau, and Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit are currently investigating the crime.
