Police: Possible Harassment Near Barnegat Rail Trail

BERKELEY – Berkeley Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a 60-year-old white male who is suspected of harassing a young woman jogging near the Barnegat Rail Trail.

The victim told police she was jogging down Eastern Blvd. on July 18 around 11:25 a.m. when she saw a red, two-door older sports car pass her multiple times and look at her while she jogged. She became concerned about the car and called her mother to pick her up.

When the victim’s mother got to the scene, she saw the vehicle pull up behind her daughter. After honking her horn, the suspicious car left the area.
