BERKELEY – Police are asking for any information in regards to a fatal crash that happened in a senior community.
A Ford Mustang struck a utility pole before coming to rest on a lawn on the 100 block of Westbrook Drive. This took place at around 1 p.m. on November 29.
Tracy Pierce, 59, of Berkeley was ejected from the vehicle. Life saving measures were performed at the scene and he was transported to Community Medical Center in Toms River where he succumbed to his injuries.
Initially, the call had come in to the police department that a pedestrian had been struck because the injured man was outside the vehicle.
