BEACHWOOD – Police will be enforcing parking restrictions during the Independence Day fireworks show.

Signs are posted telling people where they can not park. There will be strict enforcement. This is necessary because emergency vehicles need to be able to access all roads, police said.

These signs will be enforced starting at noon on July 4.

“Several summonses were issued last year to those who failed to move vehicles,” police said.

Bayside Avenue will be closed from Harpoon Street to Spring Street starting at noon.

Further, if you are a permit holder using the boat ramp, you can’t leave vehicles and trailers in the community center lot. The ramp will be closed at 5 p.m.
