BERKELEY – A Rahway man was hospitalized after being thrown from his motorcycle during a crash in Bayville, police said.
The accident happened September 14 at about 2:07 p.m. near Butler Boulevard and Bayview Avenue, according to the Berkeley Township Police Department.
Investigators said the 38-year-old rider lost control of his 2020 Harley-Davidson while making a left turn onto Bayview Avenue. He was ejected from the motorcycle and sustained moderate injuries.
The man was flown by medical helicopter to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune as a precaution.
Patrolman R. Zilavetz conducted the on-scene investigation.
