BEACHWOOD – Police arrested a Berkeley Township man for allegedly stabbing another man at the QuickChek on Route 9.
The incident happened on October 23 at around 11:30 p.m. Police arrived at the location to find a 44-year-old man with a laceration above his eye.
Beachwood First Aid Squad and Hackensack Medical Center Mobile Intensive Care Unit responded to the location and transported the victim to Community Medical Center for treatment.
After an investigation which included witness interviews and reviewing security video, Kenneth M. Jones, 40, of Berkeley was charged with Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Weapon, and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose. Kenneth Jones was lodged in Ocean County Jail.
Charges are merely accusations until proven in a court of law
