BEACHWOOD – At Monday’s Community Family Night, children will get a chance to check out a visit from a New Jersey State Police helicopter.

The Community Family Nights are held on Mondays from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Birch & Surf Park. They began on July 8 and will last until Aug. 19. The night is a fun time where games, crafts, and other activities are made available free to the public. Weekly games, bingo, crafts, and a snack shack are all free to the community. The event is sponsored by the Municipal Alliance.

The Ocean County Security Bicycle Safety Unit will be also be in attendance to go over bicycle safety. Residents are encouraged to bring their bikes.

Other community organizations will also be in attendance, such as the Ocean County Health Department, Beachwood Police, Beachwood Fire Department, and Beachwood First Aid Squad.
