BEACHWOOD – A woman has suffered serious injuries and remains hospitalized after a crash on the Garden State Parkway Saturday night, police said.
Around 9:42 p.m., a pickup truck veered off the road in the northbound lanes near milepost 80, State Police said. The driver, identified as a woman from the Villas neighborhood of Lower Township, Cape May County, was thrown from the car as a result of the crash.
According to police, she was taken to a nearby hospital, suffering from serious injuries and still remains in serious condition.
At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
