MONMOUTH COUNTY – It’s pretty great for a local person to win six figures on the lottery – but this time two people struck gold.
The Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Thursday, May 23, drawing had two winners who both matched all five winning numbers: 16, 19, 21, 36 and 37. They did not match the XTRA number which was 05.
A single winner would have won $679,450. The only down side to having two winners is that each ticket is worth $339,725.
Those tickets were sold at Buyrite Liquors, 111 Route 35 South, Cliffwood; and, Sam’s Food Market, 303 Route 36, Hazlet.
