LACEY – Police have indicted a Lacey man for providing the drugs that led to the death of another man.

Nicholas Marco Picone, 32, of Lacey, was indicted on the following charges: two counts of Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance, two counts of Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Drug Induced Death, and three counts of Possession of a CDS.

The indictments came from the death of Anthony Terrill Jr., 29, on April 8 in Lacey. Terrill had died in the restroom of the Wawa on Route 9 in Forked River in the early morning hours. An autopsy later confirmed that he had overdosed on a mix of heroin and fentanyl.

Picone was arrested in June.
