TOMS RIVER – The West Dover Parent-Teacher Organization has extended its ongoing shoe collection, encouraging residents to donate gently worn or new footwear to benefit communities locally and around the world.
The drive will now run through December 31, giving community members additional time to contribute shoes that will be redistributed through charitable partners. Organizers said donated footwear helps support outreach efforts while also reducing waste.
Shoes may be dropped off at Care Temp HVAC, located at 891 Route 37 West in Toms River, or on Tuesdays at West Dover Elementary School between 3:15 and 3:45 p.m. For additional information, residents can contact the West Dover PTO at wdptoboard@googlegroups.com.
