Three Arrested In Drug Dealing Probe

  TOMS RIVER – A local man was charged by police with distributing LSD and anabolic steroids from a home in Toms River.

  Daniel Elrose, 29, of Toms River, was charged with Possession of LSD in a Quantity greater than 100 Milligrams with Intent to Distribute; Possession of LSD; Possession of Anabolic Steroids in a Quantity greater than 100 Milligrams with Intent to Distribute; Possession of Anabolic Steroids; Possession of a Firearm While Committing a Controlled Dangerous Substance Offense; and Possession of Marijuana.

  The arrest comes at the conclusion of a month-long investigation by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force, United States Department of Homeland Security and Toms River Police Department Special Enforcement Team.

  Officers executed a no-knock search warrant at the residence, and recovered “approximately 227 grams of LSD, a large amount of anabolic steroids, three handguns, a quantity of marijuana, and approximately $2,000 in cash.”

  Jeffrey Elrose, 26, of Toms River, and Junaid Ali, 26, of Toms River, were also in the residence. These two were charged with Possession of Marijuana.

  Charges are merely accusations until proven in a court of law. All three were released on a summons pending a future court date.
