Man Charged With Shoplifting From Home Depot

  LACEY – A man with a warrant out for his arrest was caught shoplifting from a local Home Depot store recently, police said.

  On Jan. 14 at 5 p.m., Lacey Police Officers Andrew Slota and Jason Lee responded to the Lacey Township Home Depot after loss prevention reported a suspicious male. Once on the scene, police encountered 42-year old Mark Wixler who was attempting to steal $2,500 worth of merchandise from the store.

  Wixler was arrested, charged with shoplifting, and transported to police headquarters. Police also discovered that Wixler had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and was listed as a wanted person by the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department.
