What Happened To The Dress Code?

File Photo

Dear Joel,

I can’t believe how people dress! People used to go out shopping dressed very casually, but it seems like since the quarantine, things have only gotten worse. I see people going out in the most offensive outfits. Do you think things will ever return to civility?

Answer:

It sure does seem that lazy/casual has become the new dress code. I can only hope that as more people start returning to in-person work and back to school, they will perk up their wardrobes as well. I also think that some outfits lack so much modesty. Everyone should forget the Zoom call screens where you only see your face and buy a full-length mirror.
