LAKEWOOD – Lakewood Police confirmed that the missing 23-year old student from the township is safe.

“We have reason to believe that he is safe but I cannot confirm that he has been found,” stated Capt. Gregory Staffordsmith in an email to Jersey Shore Online.

Moshe Lando was reported missing on Sunday, Oct. 14 by a family member and was seen last on Thursday at the Beth Medrash Govoha dormitory.

Earlier reports noted that Lando had in fact been found, however Capt. Staffordsmith simply stated that he “is safe.”
